Overview

Council’s policies have been developed to support our vision for the region and are subject to regular review.

All policies are made by resolution of Council in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government Act 2009.

Statutory policies are required by legislation as part of Council’s business operations. These policies outline principles which provide instruction across key strategic areas.

Council policies state Council’s intent, commitment or position on strategic issues and assist in informing the community on matters that may have a direct impact on them.
