Community Grants In Kind – Application Form

The Community Grants In-Kind Program provides in-kind assistance for the use of Council facilities. These can be for programs, activities, events and projects. If the program, activity, event or project is beneficial to the whole community, Council may waive the fees for the use of our facilities and assets. 

 Examples of Council facilities and assets include:  

• the use of Council vehicles 
• hire of community hall  
• hire of corporate and recreational buildings  

The activities must enrich the diversity of cultural, social, sports, recreation and economic development opportunities. 

The grant is available to residents, non-residents and businesses, including those located outside TSIRC’s local government area. A maximum of $2,500 per individual or $10,000 per community organisation is available. 

Eligibility criteria

• The project or activity is taking place within TSIRC’s local government area  
• The project or activity is beneficial and of public interest to TSIRC’s communities 

Only applications that meet the eligibility criteria will be considered.

2. Download and fill out the application form 
3. Submit the application form via email to Community.Grants@tsirc.qld.gov.au  

Allow a minimum of 3 business days for the Council Officer to review the application and obtain approvals.
