Kubota Green Fleet Arrives on Ugar
Exciting news for Ugar (Stephen Island)! The first batch of Kubota Green Fleet machinery has arrived, marking a major step forward in maintaining essential infrastructure across the island.
Fresh off the barge and ready to get to work are:
- Fully commercial petrol zero-turn lawn mower – built for precision and efficiency.
- 57Hp air-conditioned cab tractor with a powerful slasher attachment – designed to tackle tough, overgrown vegetation with ease.
- Kubota petrol high-pressure cleaner – ensuring equipment stays in top condition for years to come.
Before these hardworking machines officially get to work on the ground, Father Stephen blessed them, ensuring safe and productive service for the Ugar community.
This investment is more than just new machinery—it’s about supporting critical infrastructure like airstrips, water supply systems, and vegetation management. These assets help reduce fire risks, maintain key transport and water facilities, and keep the island safe and operational for everyone.
Ugar is just the beginning! A total of 21 new Green Fleet assets, including tractors, slasher attachments, and high-powered mowers, are rolling out across the region, ensuring our communities stay clean, green, and well-maintained.
