The new TSIRC website is now officially live!

TSIRC Unveils New Website to Enhance Online Presence
The Torres Strait Island Regional Council (TSIRC) is excited to announce the official launch of its brand-new website, designed to provide an engaging and user-friendly experience while showcasing the vital work the council undertakes for the Torres Strait region. This new digital platform is now live and can be accessed at www.tsirc.qld.gov.au.
After months of diligent collaboration, the website is the product of a comprehensive effort between TSIRC’s Administration and Communications teams, alongside Cairns-based marketing agency, Forte Marketing, who guided the design and development.
“We collaborated closely with the Torres Strait Island Regional Council to develop a website that meets all Australian Government requirements and places people and businesses at its core. The result is a secure, user-friendly, and inclusive website designed to simplify access to information on the Council’s services and activities,” said Juan Ruiz, Director at Forte Marketing.
TSIRC Chief Exceutive Officer James William said the refreshed site reflects councils modern approach and commitment to serving the Torres Strait community with transparency and efficiency.
“We’re thrilled to present a website that truly embodies who we are and the incredible work we do,” said Mr. William. “This new platform represents a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to strengthen our connection with the community, stakeholders, and partners, making it easier for everyone to stay informed and engaged with the work of TSIRC. I am proud of the hard work from our teams and grateful for the contributions from all those involved.”
The new website features improved navigation, enhanced accessibility, and a more modern design to better serve the needs of the community, partners, and stakeholders. TSIRC invites the public to explore the new website and provide feedback to help continuously improve the site’s functionality and user experience.
“We are committed to ensuring our online presence continues to evolve and serve the Torres Strait community effectively,” added James William. “This is just the beginning, and we look forward to making ongoing improvements to better support the region.”
